Stick Pins

I could definitely get obsessed with these little things. I am lucky that my mom makes jewelry so I have inherited her "extras". These are fun and pretty easy to make. Just take corsage pins, bead your design on them, when you get to the last bead put some glossy accents on the pin and roll your pin around it. Let them dry. Easy Peasy.

Jewery Box

I made this box for my niece for Christmas. I took an unfinished box that I bought at HL and painted it green. I cut the peace sign patterned paper to fit the box on the top, front, back and sides. I used my scalloped corner chomper to get all the corners and modge podged the paper on the box. She was so excited when she opened it yesterday!

Teachers' Gifts

I made these smaller hot chocolate jars for the boys' teachers. I used the mug from JOTS and the snowman is from Christmas Cheer. I used a white jelly pen to write the directions for the chocolate mix. I trimmed the snowman's hat, scarf, body and arms with stickles. The boys said the teachers really liked them and thought they were cute!

Red and/or Green Dangle

I made the bracelet with help from my mom and she made the earrings!

Cozy

We were to make something to keep our partner cozy. I made this jar filled with homemade coco mix. I made smaller ones (pictures to come) for the boys to give as teachers gifts.

Covered in Paint

I got this idea from my friend Paula. I made a countdown to Christmas plaque. I used my ds to weld the words from lyrical letters. I painted it bright pink and then cut out the rectangle of snowman paper. More numbered rectangles so that my partner could countdown the days. This would make a great gift!

Ornament That Spins

I had the worst time coming up with an ornament that I was happy with. My friend Laurie came to my rescue and led me to this ornament. I also had help from Peachy when my brain went blank on how to cut this the right way. The ornament that was originally made was 6 pieces each cut out of a 6 inch square. Wayyyyy too big for what I wanted so I did mine at 2 inches. It was a pain in the butt but in the end it turned out really nice. I see myself laboring more of these for our own tree next year!

More Comp Books

Regular sized comp book
Mini comp book

I made these for a swap on the cricut message board. All the flowers were handmade. The butterflies on the reg book are from Storybook. The ones on the mini book are punches. I really liked the way these books turned out!

Post It Note Holder

Made this for Rosie as well. I need to figure out how to get the paper cut closer to the coaster but I think for a start it turned out ok.

Altered Treat Jar

Top of the lid. I don't think the picture shows how cool it really looks.

Front of the jar.
Side of jar with the two different ribbons.

I participated in my first Gibbs swap on the mb and we had to make at least 2 homemade goodies along with a paint can. I made this treat jar for Rosie's dog Willie. I used alcohal ink on the lid and then did the tag with an oval cut, cut the word Treats with my ds and then stickled them with gold. I attached them with two different ribbons.

Cupcakes

I made this for one of Kay's swaps. We were to make cupcakes and then submit a cupcake recipe as well. I love how cute these are!

Mini Books

I made these mini albums for a swap on the Cricut mb. The pet one I did to see how to actually make them. The other ones I sent in. They were fun to make

Shower Gift Bags

I made thesse to put in the party favors for Brenna's baby shower. I think they turned out cute.

Thank You Gifts

Mini paper purses that have post it notes in them. These were given to the boys' teachers at the end of the year!

These are thank you gifts to the two ladies that drive the boys to school once a week. I took old frappacino bottles and cleaned them and decorated them. I filled them with M&Ms.
